Push Notification Notice

Last updated: 13 September 2026 · Standalone notice under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023

This notice explains the personal data Inly collects to deliver push notifications and related service messages.

Shown when Inly requests notification permission, or when push delivery is configured after install.

Full policy: Privacy Policy · All privacy notices

1. Personal data collected

  • FCM (Firebase Cloud Messaging) push token for your device / app install
  • Notification preference signals (whether notifications are enabled at the OS or in-app level, where available)
  • Related install / device identifiers used to target the correct device (such as install ID)

2. Purpose of collection

  • Deliver service, transactional, and product notifications
  • Wake background sync where silent push is used (for example to refresh eligible SMS insights)
  • Ensure messages reach the correct device for your install

3. Required or optional

Optional. Push notification permission is optional. You can use Inly without enabling notifications; some timely alerts and background refresh behaviours may be limited.

4. Full Privacy Policy

See the full Privacy Policy at https://inly.digital/privacy/.

5. Withdrawing consent

  • Turn off notifications in Android: Settings → Apps → Inly → Notifications.
  • You may also adjust notification controls inside the Inly app settings where available.
  • Withdrawing consent stops future push delivery to that token; essential in-app information may still appear when you open the app.
