What is Inly?

Inly is India's automatic expense tracker and personal finance app for Android. As a UPI expense tracker and SMS expense tracker, it reads your transaction messages from banks, UPI apps, and payment services to automatically categorize your spending.

How is Inly different from other expense tracking apps?

Most expense tracking apps require you to manually enter every transaction. Inly detects and categorizes transactions directly from your SMS inbox — no bank login, no manual updates, no spreadsheets.

Is Inly free to use?

Yes. Inly is free to download and use on Android via Google Play.

Which platforms is Inly available on?

Inly is currently available on Android via the Google Play Store. An iOS version is not available at this time.

How It Works

How does Inly track my expenses?

Inly reads transaction SMS messages sent by your bank, UPI apps, credit card providers, and other financial services. These messages are analyzed on your device to identify transaction amounts, merchants, and categories.

Do I need to connect my bank account?

No. Inly does not require you to connect your bank account, share login credentials, or provide any banking passwords.

What types of transactions does Inly detect?

Inly detects UPI payments, debit card transactions, credit card transactions, net banking transfers, bill payments, subscription charges, and more — as long as your bank or payment service sends an SMS alert.

Privacy & Security

Is my financial data safe with Inly?

Yes. Inly uses commercially reasonable safeguards such as encrypted transmission and access controls. Eligible financial alerts may be processed on our systems. Derived profiles, personas, and behavioural patterns may be shared with authorised partners through secure APIs under contractual controls. Inly does not collect personal conversational SMS or raw OTP codes. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details.

Does Inly access my bank account or store my passwords?

No. Inly never accesses your bank account directly and does not store any banking credentials or passwords.
